78th Anniversary 团庆 Article  The troop gathered on 24 January 2026 to celebrate 团庆, marking our 78th anniversary and adding yet another chapter to our proud history. Building upon the legacy of 78 generations of Catholic High Scouts, we commemorated this special occasion by remembering the legacies and remarkable achievements of our seniors, while striving to continue doing our very best in all that we do as we carry their flame forward. Celebrating 2025 2025 was a fantastic year for our troop. Five of our Scouts attained the Chief Scout’s Award, and three of our Venture Scouts achieved the President’s Scout Award — the pinnacle award of a Scout’s and a Venture Scout’s journey respectively. Furthermore, another five of our Venture Scouts attained the Chief Scout’s Award (Venture). Our troop also held our annual June Camp at West Coast Park last year, marking our first there since the pandemic. In addition, three of our Venture Scouts successfully completed the Spartan Race held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, demonstrating exceptional resilience and determination. Troop Spirit We began the day by raising the 旗杆 in one swift attempt — a feat made possible only through meticulous strategic foresight, careful planning, and a solid foundation. Standing at 18.6 metres tall, our 旗杆 was a powerful testament to our troop’s unity and strength as one. After 升旗, our troop came together as one when the Cub Scouts joined our Secondary School Scouts for a series of games and activities. Through games such as 追踪, both Cub Scouts and Scouts bonded over shared experiences and forged even stronger ties. The lion dance held in front of the 旗杆 brought the excitement to a greater heights. The beating drums symbolised the warding off of evil, while the “78” formed by the lions using mandarins ushered in auspicious luck for our troop. As our Cub Scouts, Scouts, Ventures, and Leaders gathered for a group photo, we observed a one-minute silence in memory of our late Group Scout Leader, Mr Andrew Chua, who served the troop with unwavering dedication and care. A heartfelt “Thank you, Mr Chua!”, followed by the birthday song for our troop, reminded every one of us to build upon our legacies and remain true to our troop’s motto of Wisdom, Benevolence, and Courage . We ended the day with 降旗, marking the close of a fruitful year and the beginning of a new year of excellence in 2026. 24 January 2026 was a day of celebration and of thanksgiving. Besides celebrating our troop’s achievements, it was also a time of thanksgiving, to thank our teachers and leaders for their continuous support as well as our GSL, the late Mr Andrew Chua. Without them, Catholic High Scouts would not have been what it is today. The achievements of our seniors have also definitely inspired me to be like them, to live out the Scout Promise and Law in my daily life.  ~ Damien Chee, Sec 2 (Tiger Patrol)  May our troop’s flag fly higher with each passing year, for many more years to come.

On 15 November 2025, the Troop gathered early in the morning for our long awaited Games Day which was held in Bishan Park. Upon arrival at Bishan park, the troop assembled at recycle hill where a safety talk was conducted. Afterwards, the scouts were split into 7 different patrols where they took part in VOJ, a rotation of 7 stations run by the ventures. The scouts had to travel to various stations which were spread across the entirety of Bishan park. They tackled various challenges which tested their physical and mental capabilities. Moreover, the games tested their ability to adapt to the foreign surroundings and their ability to work together to complete the game and its objectives. After VOJ was completed, the scouts gathered back at recycle hill for a briefing about the following game, which was a mass manhunt session. The objective of the game was to run and hide within the perimeters set in Bishan park and avoid getting caught by the ventures. Scouts demonstrated good coordination within their patrols, and their awareness of the surroundings which helped them to hide from the ventures. By afternoon, the troop gathered back at recycle hill for a final debrief. Through this activity, the scouts understood the importance of adaptability, resilience and teamwork, while also strengthening their bonds as a patrol as they worked together to complete the various games.   Reflection by Samuel Lim The 15th of November marked the last Jihe of 2025. It was a rather special one, especially since this Jihe was in Bishan park. In the morning, the troop started with a farewell ceremony for Mrs Liow, who would be transferring to another school. We were all touched by her meaningful words and dedication for the scout troop in 2025. She received a book with words of appreciation by every member of the scout troop, collated by the L3 scouts. At Bishan park, we enjoyed 7 stations prepared by our ventures, which allowed us to bond as a patrol and also earn our last few points before the finalised inter-patrol ranking. The stations included first aid, caterpillar walking, pt challenges, finding hidden objects, blindfolded games, and card games. After, we did our final activity for the day which was a manhunt. All patrols hid in different parts of Bishan Park while ventures tried to find them. It was a new and fun activity, and everyone certainly enjoyed it. Overall, it was a lighthearted session planned by the ventures and a fitting end to 2025.

On 1 November 2025, the Troop gathered early in the morning for our long-awaited Pulau Ubin hike. After attendance and inspection, the Scouts boarded buses to Changi Ferry Terminal, where patrols were split into groups for the bumboat ride to the island. Upon arrival, the troop assembled at the Nature Gallery for a short orientation and safety briefing before the day’s activities began. The troop began a 9km hike towards Chek Jawa Wetlands, travelling via the Sensory Trail and stopping at key rest points along the way. Midway through the hike, the patrols took part in an orienteering challenge, where they sketched a triangle formed by three marked trees using bearings and distance-estimating methods. After reaching Chek Jawa and completing the round-trip, the troop returned to Jelutong for a short rest. In the afternoon, Scouts took part in VOJ, a rotation of four stations run by Ventures. Patrols tackled challenges such as building an improvised shelter, setting up signal fires and water-collection systems, navigating blindfolded during Nightfall, and responding to realistic emergency scenarios during First Aid. These activities tested their problem-solving, teamwork, and outdoor skills under time pressure. The day concluded with a lively 45-minute scavenger hunt, where patrols explored Pulau Ubin within set boundaries to locate various natural items. Scouts demonstrated situational awareness, creativity, and strong patrol coordination as they searched the island before regrouping at Jelutong Campsite for dismissal. By evening, the troop boarded bumboats back to Changi and returned to school. Through this full day of navigation, skill-based challenges, and exploration, the Scouts strengthened their resilience, adaptability, and patrol bonds—while gaining a deeper appreciation for Singapore’s rustic island. Reflection by Pei Hoong  On 1 November 2025, we reported early in the morning to prepare for the long awaited Ubin hike that day. That day, we were tasked with navigating through Pulau Ubin as a Patrol. From school, they set off towards the jetty where the bumboats would take them to Pulau Ubin. Once we reached the island, we were first given a safety briefing as this was an area that we were not familiar with. We then set off towards their first checkpoint, Jelutong campsite, a place that held significant importance to the scouts. After that, we set off on a hike towards Chek Jawa. Throughout the hike, we were tasked with completing many different checkpoints, such as orienteering related activities. While the hike was long, the troop spirit never wavered and we were able to complete the hike. Afterwards, we returned to the Jelutong Campsite where we had our lunch. During lunch, it started to rain, yet this did not affect us as we all put on their ponchos and prepared to move to a sheltered area. Once the rain subsided, we started making their way towards the different checkpoints that the ventures and rovers planned out. Throughout the checkpoints, we had to use multiple skills such as orienteering, backwoods, first aid, and precise thinking. To round things off, we were sent on a scavenger hunt to look for different items such as fruits, plants and different animals. We then headed back to school and bid farewell to Pulau Ubin. Overall, this experience allowed us to venture into newer areas, as well as bond together as a troop.

From October 18 to 19, three of our Ventures — Bryan, Jonas, and Caleb — put their endurance to the test at the Spartan Race Malaysia 2025: Kuala Lumpur Trifecta Weekend. Set against the backdrop of an abandoned airport runway, the course presented a grueling challenge. The team successfully navigated rugged terrain and deep mud, all while battling the scorching heat of the open runway. Although the course was demanding, every member of the team successfully completed the 10k Spartan Super. Notably, Bryan achieved a significant milestone by completing his Spartan Trifecta for the second time in a row. This weekend in Kuala Lumpur was a defining experience for the Ventures. Pushing themselves both physically and mentally, they battled through grueling obstacles to achieve what they once thought to be out of reach. Beyond the physical challenge, it was a unique opportunity to strengthen their bonds and create unforgettable memories. Below is a reflection from Bryan, who successfully completed the full Spartan Trifecta! Bryan Quan "Having competed in Spartan races in both Singapore and Malaysia before, I’ve come to value these events as a powerful avenue for mental and physical growth. They force me to push my limits and discover what I am truly capable of when I focus and give my all. However, this weekend was exceptionally demanding. I tackled both the 21K Beast and the 5K Sprint on Saturday, followed by the 10K Super on Sunday. The 21K Beast was particularly challenging; running it solo meant I had to rely entirely on my own mental fortitude without anyone to cheer me on. Despite the isolation, I persevered and secured a 4th place finish in my age category. By the time I started the 5K shortly after, I was physically drained, nursing blistered hands and an aching body. My pace slowed, but I refused to quit and I still finished it. Sunday’s 10K was a welcome change. I was grateful to run alongside Jonas and Caleb, which made the journey far more enjoyable. Together, we conquered the course, proudly representing our troop and bringing honor to the unit and ourselves." ¨Through this experience, I learned the importance of being 'comfortable being uncomfortable´. I realised that true personal growth comes from stepping out of our comfort zones and challenging our limits. By doing so, we not only improve ourselves but also bring pride to our families and the Troop. This weekend has truly become a core memory for us – and we will definitely be back for more!¨

We are immensely proud to announce that our Scout and Cub Scout units were an integral part of the school's marching contingent for this momentous occasion. In the weeks leading up to the parade, our Scouts underwent rigorous training. They tirelessly perfected their foot drills under the scorching sun, pushing their physical and mental limits. This dedication and hard work culminated in a flawless performance on the day itself. The contingent marched with pride, confidence, and grace, honourably representing not only themselves but also our Scout Group and the nation. Here is a reflection from Elvis Too, the Senior Patrol Leader of the Catholic High Scout Group and the 2025 Scouts Contingent Commander, on this year's parade: “Leading to this year’s National Day Parade, the scouts have been training their foot drills tirelessly in order to look sharp and flawless on the actual day itself. I knew it would not be easy to achieve perfect foot drills among the contingent, however, I encouraged them on and perfected their coordination. On the day of the parade, I knew that our hard work paid off as the contingent executed every command with precision and we managed to not make any mistakes. I felt proud of my contingent and I hope that we continue to work hard and strive for excellence.” Additionally, on August 9th, 2025, our Venture Scouts and Scouts demonstrated a strong spirit of collaboration by partnering with the Girl Guides from Whitley Secondary School. Together, they formed a vital part of the contingent for Marymount CC's National Day Observance Ceremony. Beyond their ceremonial duties, they actively engaged with the public by distributing fun packs and managing game booths, contributing significantly to the community spirit and festive atmosphere of the event. Through this unforgettable journey, our Scouts have forged deeper bonds of brotherhood, created lasting memories, and proudly represented our troop. This experience was an invaluable opportunity for them to strengthen their mental fortitude and refine their foot drills, skills that will undoubtedly help them lead our troop to greater heights. Written by Caleb Ng, Edited by Raphael Tham On the 7th of May 2025, Catholic High School had its annual open house, a time for us to showcase our strengths and achievements.  Our booth began by highlighting our core values- 智(wisdom)，仁(benevolence)，勇(courage), before moving on to other important qualities that scouts develop, such as perseverance, discipline and confidence. We also dedicated a section to showcasing prototypes of our pioneering structures. These models, tall and complex, reflected our outstanding skills, and every one of them had once been built in real life. Finally, we presented our 77-year history through photographs, reminding visitors of our long-standing tradition and legacy. Each and every year, Open House is more than a display of our past achievements, it is a testament to our history and a showcase of how we shape our boys into men.

Written by Bryan Quan The President’s Scout Award is the highest honour a Venture Scout can attain, granted to only a select few each year. It recognises not only outstanding proficiency in Scouting skills but also serves as a powerful testament to a recipient’s unwavering moral character. Attaining this award demands a rigorous journey filled with challenges and assessments designed to test one’s abilities as well as one’s values. This year, all three of our JC2 Ventures, Bryan Quan. Dylan Soh, and Xavier Tan were proud recipients of this distinguished award. Bryan Quan, our 2025 Venture Chairman and a fellow awardee, shares his reflections below. The President’s Scout Award marks the culmination of the values and lessons I’ve gained throughout my Scouting journey, which began a decade ago when I first joined as a Cub Scout. In preparing for the Pioneer Exploration Assessment, I pushed myself to cover distances I never thought I could. Planning the Venture Scout Service Project gave me the opportunity to serve the community while sharpening my planning and organisational skills. Through the Venturing Challenge Course, I was able to put my teamwork and problem-solving abilities to the test. This award reinforces the essence of the Scout Promise and Laws, reminding us that whether as Scouts or as individuals, we must remain steadfast in the face of challenges and commit ourselves to daily acts of kindness that contribute to the betterment of our community. None of this would have been possible without the support of my Troop and Scout Leaders. They are the ones who have shaped me into who I am today and who continue to give purpose to my Scouting journey. Without their unwavering guidance, this achievement would not have been possible. This award, though a testament to our capability and growth as Venture Scouts, is not the conclusion of our Scouting journey. Instead, it marks the start of a new chapter, one where we continue giving back to our Troop and play our part in shaping our boys into men.

Written by Jonas Lok, Edited by Raphael Tham On the 25th of April 2025, our Catholic High Cub Scouts, Scouts, and Ventures took on the challenge of the South Area Orienteering Competition, navigating the scenic landscapes of Gardens By The Bay with skill and determination. Outstanding Achievements Our units demonstrated exceptional teamwork and spirit, bringing back an impressive collection of awards. From the four Scout teams that competed, we proudly secured one Silver and three Gold awards . One of our Gold-winning teams also achieved an outstanding Overall 3rd Place  finish. Our Ventures were equally formidable. Three Venture teams participated, earning one Gold and two Bronze awards . In a stunning display of prowess, the Gold-winning team also emerged as the Overall Champions  for the Venture category! We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organisers for hosting this wonderful event. A huge congratulations to all our participants for their incredible efforts and for bringing glory to the troop! Be Prepared True to the Scout motto, this success was built on weeks of diligent preparation. Leading up to the competition, our Scouts and Ventures dedicated their time to sharpening their orienteering skills. They even conducted a reconnaissance trip to Gardens by the Bay to familiarise themselves with the competition environment, giving them a valuable edge. Below is a reflection from Jonas Lok of the champion Venture team: "The orienteering competition was definitely a fun experience. It was a great way for me to bond and have fun with my fellow Ventures, Raphael and Caleb. Even though we managed to win overall first place for the Venture section, the competition was not entirely smooth sailing. We wanted to finish every single station well, so we spent a bit too long on the first few checkpoints and thus had to rush through the last few. However, we tried our best and still managed to clinch first place!" While we celebrate these excellent results, we know we can always improve. We will continue to work harder and are determined to come back even stronger next year. The common thread among these five young men is their shared background as Scouts and Ventures of the Catholic High Scout Group. Their time in scouting helped shape their leadership, resilience, and commitment, preparing them for significant roles, including their journey through Officer Cadet School (OCS). Congratulations to them on successfully completing their OCS Passing Out Parade on 30 November 2024! This milestone is a testament to their hard work and the foundation laid during their scouting years.

The 3D2N camp was not only a test for the newly formed Patrols, but also an invaluable experience for all Scouts. DAY 1 The camp began with a session on proper waterproofing and backpacking techniques, where the scouts learned to waterproof their equipment in Ziploc bags and pack their rucksacks efficiently, an important skill for any scout to master. Next was Camp Development, during which Scouts made final adjustments to their patrol pounder tents and gadgets, and constructed their patrol gateways. This was crucial to ensuring patrol spirit was high throughout the camp, such that the scouts could achieve excellence in all that they did. In the afternoon, Scouts had their first Backwoodsman experience of the year. Under Venture's and Rover's guidance, they mastered essential skills such as pit digging, fire-starting techniques, food preparation, and cooking over an open fire. After hours of effort and hard work, they were rewarded with the satisfaction of tasting the food they had prepared, which was perfectly cooked over the embers. Day 1 ended with an exciting round of night games. Scouts were challenged on their night safety and awareness as they explored the school compound in search of hidden cards, Ventures, and their patrol flags. It was a memorable and enjoyable bonding experience for the newly formed patrols. DAY 2 The day kicked off with morning physical training, fostering both fitness and troop spirit as Scouts cheered each other on, pushing themselves to their limits. After breakfast, they tackled 8 SRIT stations, which put their observational and situational awareness skills to the test. These stations featured First Aid scenarios, memory games, Sour Grapes, and even a simulated robbery! The variety of unique stations allowed scouts to better embody the Scout Motto - Be Prepared, as they learnt to respond to any scenario that came their way. At noon, Scouts competed against each other in the highly anticipated Inter-Patrol Stove Cooking Competition. Patrols were given a set of ingredients and tasked with cooking and presenting their dishes to the judges, with taste and creativity as the main criteria. Throughout the challenge, Patrol Leaders ensured knife safety and hygiene were strictly adhered to, facilitating the smooth completion of the event. After enjoying their self-prepared lunch, Scouts embarked on pioneering projects in batches — Sec 1s built a catapult, Sec 2s constructed tripod towers, and Sec 3s assembled a drawbridge. By carefully securing wooden structures with knots and lashings, they successfully completed their respective projects, an achievement made possible through teamwork and coordination. As night fell, the long-awaited campfire began — a time for Scouts to relax and immerse themselves in the lively atmosphere after a day of hard work. Despite the inclement weather beforehand, the campfire was not cancelled, but in fact adapted on the spot in the form of a "campfire light". In addition to singing campfire songs like BP Spirit  and Gako the Frog , they performed their patrol skits and played games like Dog and Bone . The night ended on a heartfelt note with the song 朋友 , as Scouts linked arms and swayed in unison, symbolizing their unbreakable bonds of friendship and brotherhood formed during this camp. This campfire was one like no other, truly exemplifying the spirit of the Catholic High Scout Group. DAY 3 After morning PT and breakfast, Scouts dismantled their campsite, working efficiently to pack up their tents, gadgets, and gateways, returning them to the QM. The scouts worked with incredible speed and coordination, exemplifying the spirit of a true Catholic High Scout. The final challenge of the camp was a grueling open inspection, where Scouts laid out all their equipment. The intense and meticulous inspection reinforced the importance of maintaining a constant sense of urgency, having a high level of discipline, and most importantly, being well-prepared at all times. To conclude the camp, a prize presentation was held. Congratulations to Cobra Patrol  for being crowned Best Patrol of March Camp! Below is a reflection from Matthew Lee, Cobra Patrol Leader :  “March camp was a tough experience as we faced many challenging moments. The sec 2s and 3s had to guide the sec 1s patiently as they were new to the CCA, ensuring that they were able to keep up. An example of this was during the night games, where we worked together, every one of us contributing ideas to complete the task given.  Two key factors that contributed to Cobra patrols success in this camp were teamwork and resilience. Through effective communication, everyone knew their part to play in each activity and had great teamwork in the process. During IPSCC, I delegated each patrol member a task, such as cutting the vegetables or marinating the chicken. With everyone being focused, it allowed us to work with speed and efficiency when making dishes. Despite various setbacks in other activities, we all pushed ourselves to our limits though we were tired and encouraged each other to never give up. One memorable experience during this March camp was SRIT. It was a valuable and fun learning opportunity for all of us to improve our core scouting skills, such as First Aid We also learnt to work together better as a patrol by each playing a small part to complete a big task.  Although this camp was tough and tiring for my patrol, I am proud that each one of them pushed through every step of the way and persevered till the end. I am also thankful for everyone helping and supporting each other through hard times, maintaining strong bonds and always working together. I hope my patrol has learnt a lot from this camp and will keep up the good work throughout their scouting journey.”

On 1 February 2025, the Troop gathered for our annual investiture ceremony, a special occasion where we recognise our Scouts for their dedication and efforts towards scouting and Troop. It is not just a milestone in their scouting journey, but also an opportunity to encourage Scouts and pass down responsibilities to the future of the Troop.  Celebrating 2024 As we close off 2024, we extend our congratulations to the best Secondary 1, 2 and 3 scouts (Samuel Seow of Pigeon Patrol, Elvis Too of Tiger Patrol and Chian Fon Jay of Shark Patrol), as well as the best patrol of the year, Tiger Patrol. This prize presentation aims at acknowledging the exceptional performance of the individuals and patrol and encouraging others to learn from them, working harder to become better versions of themselves. The Investiture Ceremony Led by their APLs, the now Secondary 2 Scouts marched up to the front of the Troop to receive their Troop scarves, which were adorned on them after placing their left hand on the Troop flag while doing a scout salute on their right and reciting the Scout promise. This reinforces their loyalty to the Troop and to scouting,now being fully fledged Catholic High Scouts. The new Troop scarf also marks the now Secondary 2 scouts as seniors of the Troop, and that they are ready to set an example to the soon-to-be-joining Secondary 1 juniors. The newly elected Patrol Leaders Council (PLC) consists of eight new PLs (one per patrol), one new ASPL and one new SPL. The Troop is now entrusted in the hands of our newly elected leaders to lead the Troop to scale greater heights to achieve success.  With the promotion of six new Ventures, the Venture unit now stands at a formidable 14 Ventures. The Ventures will continue to work behind the scenes to plan and develop the training and programmes for the scouts, helping the latter learn and grow. The Ventures will continue to face challenges and overcome them, using their takeaways to teach the scouts new lessons which can prove useful in their lives. The Ventures also continue to develop themselves, improving in the pursuit of excellence.   捞鱼生 After the ceremony, the Scouts, Ventures and Leaders gathered in the canteen for Lohei to celebrate the year’s success. As each ingredient is added, we said various auspicious wishes in mandarin related to the ingredient. It is also believed that the higher we toss the 鱼生, the greater our fortunes will be in the year ahead. We all tossed as high as we could, saying “Huat ah” and wishing the Troop a fortuitous and prosperous new year.   A Bright Future Investiture is a special day and memory for the Troop, as it is a day of encouragement, reflection and recognition for all our scouts. A new year presents new challenges, but with our newly elected leaders, we are ready to overcome and learn from them, conquering each obstacle and excelling greater than before.

On 25 January 2025, the Troop gathered to celebrate 团庆 , marking Catholic High Scout Group’s 77th anniversary . This milestone was not only a celebration of our history but also a tribute to the legacy left behind by generations of Scouts. It was a time to honor their contributions, reflect on our shared journey, and reaffirm the values that continue to unite and inspire our troop today. Celebrating 2024 In 2024, the Troop achieved remarkable success, showcasing the dedication and excellence of our Scouts and Ventures. Twelve Scouts  attained the prestigious Chief Scout Award , while four Ventures  received the esteemed President’s Scout Award , the highest honors at the Scout and Venture levels, respectively. These achievements are a testament to their unwavering Scouting spirit, perseverance, and loyalty to the troop. Through their hard work and commitment, they not only brought pride to themselves but also upheld the troop’s tradition of excellence, reinforcing our position at the forefront of Scouting. Troop Spirit We began our 77th anniversary  celebration with a powerful display of teamwork and precision, successfully raising the 五层旗杆  in a single swift attempt. As an annual tradition, the 五层旗杆  represents more than just a physical structure—it embodies the strategic foresight, efficient execution, and visionary planning  that define our troop’s strength and unity. This symbolic act not only honored our heritage but also reaffirmed our commitment to excellence. As we watched the troop flag  soar, we reflected on the legacy of the past year and embraced the challenges and triumphs that lay ahead, determined to make the coming year just as extraordinary. After that, the Cub Scouts eagerly joined us for a series of exciting games, including 追踪  and Dog and Bone , filling the air with laughter and energy as Scouts and Cubs bonded through teamwork and friendly competition. These shared moments allowed them to forge new friendships and create lasting memories that would carry on beyond the event. As the games concluded, the excitement continued with a thrilling lion dance performance, its rhythmic drums and lively movements symbolizing prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. The vibrant display captivated everyone, reinforcing the spirit of unity and renewal as we welcomed a thriving 2025. Finally, we came together to cut the anniversary cake, a sweet and symbolic moment that represented our shared journey and achievements as a troop. With each bite of the delicious cake, we celebrated not only our past successes but also the promising future that lay ahead. Additionally, our Group Scout Leader, Mr. Andrew Chua, was honored with the prestigious “Honorary Friend of School”  award, a recognition of his unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to the Scout Group. With over 60 years of service, Mr. Chua has been a guiding force, shaping generations of Scouts with his wisdom, leadership, and passion for Scouting. His commitment has left a profound and lasting impact, fostering a spirit of resilience, camaraderie, and excellence within the troop. Through his mentorship, countless Scouts have grown into responsible leaders, carrying forward the values of Scouting in their own lives. This award serves not only as a tribute to his extraordinary service but also as a testament to the deep appreciation and respect he has earned from the entire school and Scout community. To conclude the celebrations on a solemn yet meaningful note, we held 降旗 , a tradition that symbolizes both closure and new beginnings. As the Troop flag slowly descended from the towering 五层旗杆 , its graceful movement reflected the pride and unity we shared throughout the event. The air was filled with a quiet sense of reverence, a moment for us to reflect on the memories and achievements of the past year.
