Our annual Catholic High School open house took place on the 16th of May 2026, showcasing the best of Catholic High, including our Scout Group’s achievements and rich history.

This year’s open house booths were set up in a different manner that included improvised shelters, gadgets, and more.

Beyond the custom structures built, we showcased photo collages of the many activities we do in Scouting as well as our unique 78 year heritage in Catholic High as one of its oldest CCAs.

The showcase also highlights the unique patrol system that lies at the heart of Scouting. Our visitors gained a deeper understanding on how Scouting nurtures confidence, character, and leadership.

Some core scouting activities we highlighted included pioneering, orienteering, first aid, and campcraft. Among the showpieces included the miniature of our record 7 storey pioneering tower built in the 1998 National Campcraft and Pioneering Competition; a testament to our commitment to excellence since our founding in 1948.

A number of our scouts from our Patrol Leaders’ Council took turns showing our visitors around and answering their many questions about the CCA and the school. Our scouts handled the interactions with professionalism and warmth, sharing their stories of the strong brotherhoods forged and how scouting in Catholic High has helped them grow in leadership, character, and service.

Through this CCA showcase, we hope that visitors and parents understand that Scouting is beyond just a CCA, it is where we shape scouts with the right qualities, following through their development into adulthood.
