Level 1 Investiture 2026

7 March 2026 marked a significant milestone for our Level One Scouts: the Investiture ceremony. Following a month of dedicated training and preparation, this event signified the first official step in their Scouting journey as they were finally welcomed into the ranks of the Catholic High Scout Group.

To commemorate this momentous occasion, parents of the Level One Scouts gathered to witness their children’s growth and commitment. The Level Two and Three seniors also stood with the Level Ones in the 马蹄 formation, showing their solidarity and support. 

As the ceremony commenced, the Level One Scouts were called forward from their respective patrols. Led by their Patrol Leaders who are tasked with the responsibility of mentoring in the coming year, they marched confidently to the front of the 马蹄. There, they placed their left hands on the Troop flag and raised their right hands in the Scout salute to recite the Scout Promise, signifying their lifelong commitment to their duties as Scouts and their responsibility toward their community and country.

Following the recitation of the Promise, our newest members stood at attention to be officially invested with their National scarves. These were donned by our Scout Leader, Mr. Fok Chee Wel Ernest, and the Venture Council, formalizing the trust placed upon them to always uphold the Scout Law and the values they had just pledged to defend.

After the ceremony, our Level One Scouts celebrated this milestone by taking photos with their parents and new patrols. This Investiture marks the start of a transformative journey in their lives, where they will develop the resilience and skills to become independent leaders under the tutelage of their seniors. Though the path ahead will be challenging, the lessons and friendships gained will be priceless. We wish our newly inducted scouts all the best as they officially begin their Scouting journey!
