Investiture 2026

On February 7, 2026, our Troop gathered for our annual Investiture ceremony. This ceremony marks a profound milestone in every Scout’s journey, symbolising the moment seniors pass the torch to a new generation. It is a time-honoured tradition where our juniors step forward to embrace their own leadership paths, ensuring the legacy of the Troop continues with the new Patrol Leader Council (PLC).

Closing 2025

As we enter 2026, we want to congratulate Elvis Too, Samuel Siew and Damien Chee for being the best secondary 3, 2 and 1 Scouts respectively, as well as to Cobra Patrol for being awarded best Patrol.

These awards recognise individuals who have exemplified the spirit of Scouting through their dedication and selflessness. In highlighting their success, we establish these Scouts as role models, encouraging the entire Troop to strive for the same standard of excellence.

Investiture ceremony

Led by their Assistant Patrol Leaders (APLs), the Secondary 2 Scouts stepped forward to formalise their journey. By saluting and reciting the Scout Promise over the Troop flag, they accepted the honour of the Troop scarf. This transition is more than a formality; it represents the deep trust the Troop invests in these young leaders, calling upon them to uphold our legacy through dedication, excellence, and service to others.

The ceremony continued with the investiture of 9 new Ventures, increasing the Venture Troop’s strength to 16. These individuals are committed to the stewardship of our Troop, working diligently to design engaging programs and mentor the Scouts in their charge. This new chapter allows our Ventures to refine their leadership skills and deepen their own development as they uphold the high standards of our Scouting tradition.

The investiture culminated with the appointment of the new Patrol Leader Council. As our Patrol Leaders, Quartermasters, Secretaries, and Senior Patrol Leaders stepped forward, they accepted the profound responsibility of leading their peers. This council is the heartbeat of the Troop, and we have full confidence that their dedication will lead us to a future filled with achievement and pride.

A bright future

More than just a ceremony, Investiture is a celebration of where we have been and where we are going. It is a day to honour our past while stepping boldly into a new Scouting year. We are incredibly proud of our newly invested leaders and are certain that their dedication will bring out the very best in our Troop, making us all proud in the year to come.
