The President's Scout Award represents the pinnacle of achievement for Venture Scouts and indicates their preparedness for a lifetime of service to God, nation and all mankind. It is the highest rank in the Singapore Scouts Association.
This year, 5 Venture Scouts from Catholic High Scout Group achieved the pinnacle award, boasting one of the largest intakes of President’s Scouts and continuing the long history of President Scouts from the scout troop.
They are: Ian Chien Jun Rong Loh Zheng Lucas Ryan Lim Yi Xuan Siauw Yu Chuan Tan Jen Kai
Despite the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the PSA ceremony was held safely in the Istana on the 9th of December. Leaders, family members and friends joined the 5 Ventures online, via a live stream set up by SSA. They received their award from President Halimah Yacob and were able to share their experiences later on during the interaction session.
These Venture Scouts will continue to set role models for their juniors and remain committed to the troop beyond this award. Moving ahead, they will be inducted into the troop's Rovers Unit in 2021 and continue bringing glory to the troop.
